The aim was to record an album with a modern “made in Nashville” country music sound to it, that would appeal especially to a younger audience who loves songs with catchy melodies. Listening then to “This Woman”, we can easily come to the conclusion, and safely say, that this goal has been achieved. Be it the production of Rob Crosby (singer / songwriter who achieved a discreet success in the 90’s), be it the choice and arrangement of the songs, or be it the topics discussed, this CD has a pleasant country sound to it which easily equals the recent work of Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert. Writer or co-writer of almost all the tracks, Kayleigh Leith (originally from Pittsburgh, PA), has a beautiful voice and just the right amount of determination to do great things, which many, who attended her recent concert held in Rome, can confirm. Produced by the Dutch KL Music label and distributed by the Amazing Records Europe, “This Woman” unwinds itself through ten very interesting tracks. Modern and vibrant, “This Woman” is really ready for Music City.
