BBR Music Group label-mates Chayce Beckham, the latest winner of ABC’s American Idol, and Lindsay Ell, award-winning triple threat (musician, vocalist, songwriter) have released their irresistibly steamy new single, “Can’t Do Without Me.”
Produced by Ross Copperman, the vivid duet soars with powerhouse vocals and a heart-pounding, high-energy beat, bringing to life a couple’s long-awaited reunion. Beckham’s rough, gravelly voice and Ell’s bluesy, soulful flair, the pair perfectly complement each other’s distinctive vocals.
After winning American Idol and the hearts of fans across the nation, Beckham released his self-penned track “23.” The pensive song skyrocketed to the top of numerous viral charts, racking up more than 22 million on-demand streams (and counting).
Ell celebrated the release of “Can’t Do Without Me” yesterday, as she co-hosted the 2021 Canadian Country Music Awards, where she was the most nominated female artist (with five nominations) and took home “Interactive Artist of the Year.” With a No. 1 already under her belt, Ell is also currently serving as host to Canada’s Got Talent as she recently kicked off her first headlining tour in Canada, since recently wrapping Blake Shelton’s 2021 Heroes & Friends Tour. Last Friday, November 26th, she appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America with Cheat Codes and Lee Brice to perform their song “How Do You Love.”
“Can’t Do Without Me” – written by Jordan Walker, Trannie Anderson and Michael Carter – marks Beckham’s label-debut single.
