Kacey Musgraves has just published her fourth studio album, “Golden Hour” with the label UMG Nashville. Kacey herself defines it as a sort of journey through various genres and musical styles, naming Sade, Neil Young, Elton John and even the Bee Gees as the artists who have most influenced the sound of this project. Just as she mentioned during her concert at the recent C2C in London, in mid-March, which focused mainly on the songs of this new Cd, “Golden Hour” is a fairly introspective album featuring the most representative songs, “Space Cowboy” and “Butterflies”. Without a doubt, it is the least sounding country album of this singer from Mineola (TX) who, aware of her enormous potential, chooses to record songs, which reach out to, both for arrangements and lyrics, even those, who don’t normally listen to country music. On the other hand, from the artistic point of view, Kacey has grown a lot these past few years and is now ready to become an international star. “Golden Hour” will surely give her a big hand in achieving this goal.
