In conjunction with the launch of his first U.K. tour (which will start on the 1st December), Chase Rice publishes “Lambs & Lions”, an album that seems perfect for the European market, more and more fascinated by these country / pop / rock sounds. “I don’t really consider myself a country singer”, Chase said in a recent interview, “but I’m convinced that “Lambs & Lions” contains some great country songs.” In fact, the new album, from this North Carolina born singer, has 10 tracks, which prove to be much more country-oriented than you might suspect. In addition, the duet with Ned LeDoux, taking a classic from his dad, Chris LeDoux, “This Cowboy’s Hat”, confirms a clear tendency towards a certain type of music. However, the fact remains that “Lions & Lambs”, produced by Chris DeStefano, is a very modern album, perfectly in tune with the current Nashville trend, which provides perfect products, aimed for radio stations, and a young audience. Preceded by the single “Three Chords &The Truth”, the Cd is full of good songs, the first one being “Oh Tonight”, a song that has all the credentials to become a great international success.
