Tawny Ellis is releasing a new single, a cover of the Joni Mitchell song, “River” on December 18th and the video for the song on December 20th, just in time for the holidays! “This song” says Tawny “is hallowed ground to me and to many others I would imagine who love Joni Mitchell’s music. I can only call this a tribute to the great Joni Mitchell, “River” was on her critically acclaimed album “Blue” released in 1971 and has always been one of my favorite songs. I have sung this song many times over the years, it has always been a song that I have thrown in my set on holiday gigs in the past.”
