Josh Turner ha recentemente annunciato “Country State of Mind”, il nuovo album che conterrà anche la splendida versione del classico “Forever and Ever, Amen” cantato in coppia con lo stesso Randy Travis che torna così sulle scene dopo un lunghissimo periodo di lontananza.”Randy has always been my hero. He was the reason I wanted to become a country singer,” ha dichiarato Turner in conferenza stampa . “He’s an inspiring figure, not just to me but to a lot of people, so to have him sing on this record is pretty special.” Oltre al famoso brano con Travis, Country State Of Mind conterrà anche altre covers tra cui “I Can Tell By the Way You Dance (I’m Gonna Love Me Tonight) di Vern Gosdin,” The Caretaker “di Johnny Cash e” Alone and Forsaken “di Hank Williams. Da sottolineare inoltre la partecipazione  di tantissimi ospiti illustri.
