GRAMMY-nominated Nashville-based duo Thompson Square have just announced their first ever UK date, at The Long Road festival in Leicestershire on Sun 8th Sept, alongside acts like Kip Moore, Josh Turner, LANCO and more. They recently shared the video for latest single ‘Masterpiece, their debut UK single and the title track of their third album (co-produced with award-winning producer Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift), Dann Huff (Keith Urban) and Ilya Toshinskiy), released last year to an overwhelming response from fans and critics. Ten years ago, Thompson Square signed to one of Nashville’s leading labels, and their debut self-titled album went Gold, with a #1 Double Platinum single. They went on to release a follow up ‘Just Feels Good’, while touring with artists like Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line, as well as starting to spread their wings internationally with a #1 single in Australia, and nearly 1 billion streams worldwide for their music to date. They have also had two GRAMMY nominations, been named Duo of the Year in both the CMA and ACM Awards, and this latest album marks their long-awaited return to releasing and performing music after taking some time away for the birth of their son Cooper, who has also inspired their first children’s book and song ‘Time To Get Dressed’. The latest album ‘Masterpiece’ is out now.
