Songwriter di successo (I’m From the Country/Tracy Byrd, When I Stop Loving You/Trace Adkins, It Ain’t Me If It Ain’t You/Brooks & Dunn tanto per citarne alcuni) , interprete di grande talento e protagonista della scena country degli anni 90 ( basti pensare ad albums come High And Dry del 91 o Wild Kentucky Skies del 93), Marty Brown si era decisamente defilato dal music business discografico, rimanendo attivo soprattutto nella dimensione live. Dopo circa vent’anni di silenzio, il singer di Maceo (KY) torna con un nuovo cd intitolato American Highway (Plowboy Records ) di cui è autore ( con Jon Tiven) di tutte le 10 canzoni che compongono l’album.
